Japanese textile artist. The artist use yu-zen dyed and hers original technique.

The theme of work is “the beginning of the life.” The way that abstract pattens form gradually concrete patterns implies that something is being born and grown up from life without form.

I dyed the parts of abstract patterns with the technique that I had invented.​

　

　作品テーマは生命の始まり。

　植物が生えてくる様子や、水の中で育つ生き物等のモチーフを描きます。具象的なモチーフは、抽象的・偶発的にできるデカルコマニー模様から出発します。

　なぜかというと、その模様は見る人によって様々な模様を与える模様であり、“想像の原点”のように思うからです。

　着物等を染める際に使用する友禅技法と、絵画技法であるデカルコマニー技法を組み合わせ、作品を制作しています。

　現在は金沢を拠点に活動中です。
